Rounin – Ronin. A samurai without a master a bushi with no lord or master during the feudal period (1185–1868) of Japan. A samurai became masterless from the death or fall of his master, or after the loss of his master’s favor or privilege.. At present day it is also used for a student who flunk his entrance exam and is waiting for another chance to get into a university.

Ryoukai – OK, understood / Acceptance. Reply to a message or order to indicate that it is understood. English equivalent is “Roger!”.
